Rexam

Rexam is one of the world's leading consumer packaging groups and the world's leading beverage can maker. They serve the Beverage, Beauty, Pharmaceuticals and Food markets with around 100 manufacturing operations in more than 20 countries.

At Rexam Plastics we installed all of the electrical and instrumentation on a Multi-Head Extruder. Installing 185mm2 4Core XLPE SWA PVC Cables in parallel to each of the 5 Panels, installing all feed control and instrumentation from a Central Control Desk (Below). This was done whilst the Old Plant was still in production decommissioning, as each section was commissioned and put into service. All main drives supplied with DC This project was subcontracted from Rewinds & J Windsor & Sons. This Project cost in excess of £800K to Rexam Plastics.
